This is a good example of how some scratches can be removed without the need for repainting. As long as the scratch has not gone through the clearcoat, by using some very fine abrasives on a dual action sander, (not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced!)followed by careful machine polishing using several grades of compound, such scratches can be completely eliminated, thus maintaining the integrity of the original manufacturer's paint finish.
